Conference
Modes
Voice Activated -This is the one most commonly used
mode. All sites see the site that is speaking or presenting.
The MCU diplays a site based on which site the sound is coming
from.
Presentation - A pre-selected site is chosen to be the
presenter. The other sites in a conference, regardless of who
is speaking will ALWAYS see that presenter site. The people
at the presenting site will see the other sites switch normally,
but those other sites will only see the presenter, regardless
of who speaks.
Continuous Presence - Continuous Presence breaks the
network image (your display) into quadrants. If there are more
than four sites in a multi-point conference you will see the
four sites who have most recently spoken. When a different site
speaks, the site which has gone longest without speaking will
be replaced by the new site. You can choose to assign sites to
specific quadrants where they will stay regardless of whom speaks.
Broadcast with Scan - A pre-selected site is chosed to
be the presenter as with Presentation mode. The presenter selects
a scan rate of 5 to 240 seconds at which he will see (scan)
the other sites. The other sites will only see the presenter
and there is no audio communication available from the other
sites.

| Multipoint Universal
Conference Control (UCC) - Please choose "no" unless you
are trained in Universal Conference Control. UCC is a feature
that supplements the various conference types. It works via
a telephone call into the multi-point. By using various, short
number sequences on the phone's key pad, you can give instructions
to the multi-point unit to override switching, toggle between
full screen and continuous presence, to drop sites and end
conferences.
