Our services are guided by the education reform goal of providing students the opportunity to learn, not only in the classroom but also to work and live as happy, responsible citizens contributing to their own well-being and to that of their families and communities.

Educational Service District 105 strives to take a comprehensive approach to improving school and student success. These efforts link state education reform goals, School Improvement Planning, and the federal law No Child Left Behind.

By developing programs based on district need, we assist in the goal we are all striving to achieve . . . for all learners to experience academic and personal success.

The ESD 105 Teaching and Learning department includes programs in Arts, Literacy, Science, and Math.

Some of the primary services we provide to assist in achieving school and student success include:

School Improvement Plan development assistance

Training on how to assess student learning, collecting data from assessments, and how to use data to design and implement learning improvement programs in districts and schools.

Programs that keep kids safe and learning in schools such as our Safe Schools/Healthy Students initiative
The LASER science program that combines private sector, state and national resources to bring this innovative hands-on learning curriculum to our region's schools.
