ESD
105 Regional High School Show
The
34th annual ESD 105 Regional High School Art Show was held Sunday,
February 25, through Sunday, March 11, 2007.
All
art was to be delivered to Allied ArtsGallery in Yakima by 5 p.m.
on Wednesday, February 14. The Art Show Opening Reception was held
on Sunday, February 25, from 2 to 4 p.m.
Creations from high school students
are featured annually in this unique opportunity
to show art in a gallery setting and have it judged. Seven of the
pieces were selected to advance to the Annual
Superintendent's State High School Art Show, running
April 20-May 31 at the Old Capitol Building in Olympia.
2006
Show
Our 33rd annual show featured 83 pieces created by 72 students from
12 area high schools. View

Special congratulations to Sonia DeLaRosa of Royal High School,
whose ceramic sculpture "Fat Cat" received the State Board
of Education Award after being one of our region's local pieces
that advanced to the State High School Art Show.
