Performance-based
school counseling program development for
student
academic, personal/social
and career success
|
A
school counseling program is comprehensive in scope, preventative
in design, and developmental in nature. ESD 105 staff members work
with school counselors and administrators in the region to enhance
school counseling programs so that every student benefits.
ESD staff can provide assistance with the curriculum component so
that every student receives school guidance curriculum content in
a systematic way. ESD staff members are available to help with individual
student learning plans so all students have the opportunity to work
closely with their parents or guardians to plan, monitor and understand
their growth and development and take action on their next steps
personally, educationally and occupationally. The ESD Crisis Response
Team is available to help counselors and administrators respond
to the direct, immediate concerns of school buildings impacted by
sudden death or loss.
